1/2 of SIX GEDINTAILOR, BRAES, BY PORTREE, Isle of Skye, SLEEPS 4

With stunning views towards the Isle of Raasay and the Red Cuillin, 1/2 of Six sleeps four people

1/2 of 6 Gedintailor is a 90-year-old traditional croft house that has been carefully renovated to provide every modern comfort, while retaining its original character and charm.
Situated on the east coast of Skye, eight miles south of Portree, there are stunning views over the Narrows of Raasay and towards the Isle of Raasay. It stands in a three-acre field - with a working croft behind it (this neighbour shares the access track) - and also has a garden enclosed by a dry stone wall to the front of the house, which provides a lovely sheltered spot for barbeques and for sitting out. There is a swing, trees to climb and the popular sandy beach at Braes is a short walk away.
Inside there are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed, the other with two singles. Downstairs there is an open fire in the sitting room and a wood burning stove in the kitchen / dining room.
There is a washing machine /dryer, a television/video and a CD player. There is also a selection of books, games, videos and CD.
Well behaved dogs are welcome - but be aware that the croft house stands in the middle of sheep grazing so please keep dogs on a lead outside the garden. No Smoking please!
Rates for 1/2 of 6 range between £275 and £460 in peak season. For further details telephone Caroline Macdonald on 00 33 450 72 68 41 (leave a message and we will call you back immediately) or use the email link below.
